How long does nier take to beat

Doing so will force you to play the entire route again, as opposed to reloading at the start of the final area. Route A has three distinct sections: a prologue, part one, and part two. Endings B and C only require you to run through a chunk of part two again.

The bulk of the section involves finding five stone fragments. It will take roughly 45 hours to get all endings; A through Z. Doing all of this will take roughly 62 hours.

However, if you use a guide during your playthrough, you can percent Nier: Automata in as little as 45 hours. Nier: Automata's DLC adds about 3 additional hours of content to play through, and about 4 hours in total for percent completion.

This will increase the total time to percent the game to roughly 66 hours. Full completion requires completing the story, finishing all side quests and collecting all weapons, pod programs and intel. Attaining all of this can take as long as 60 hours.

In some instances, it can take even longer as some rarer fish may prove very difficult to locate and players may miss some side quests or items on the initial run. All 26 must be experienced to complete the game0; each ending is found by experimenting with different actions throughout the game, resulting in an ending card marked with a small sentence with a capitalized letter, denoting which ending the player got.

There are also a total of 60 side quests available for players. Many of the side quests are locked to specific characters, but a comprehensive list can be found to the right of the chapter select screen. Alongside the side quests, the androids' Pod companions have 17 programs located around the world that must also be collected. Some can be found in shops, some are hidden in the environment and some are received as mission rewards.

Some are very easy to miss, so collecting them all requires patience. When picking up a new game, many players' first question is how long it will take to beat. This is important for a number of reasons, as each player's preference is different. For either of those gamers, NieR Replicant offers some great news, as the time it takes to beat varies greatly based on how players want to handle NieR's multiple endings.
