The untitled project will "harness learnings" from Dust and also be an evolution of the Project Legion concept first announced back at EVE Fanfest - "but without the limitations of technical debt and development paths we quickly discovered in that effort that could never serve as a future-proof technology base for a full production game".

Call me crazy, but I'll NEVER grasp why the hell these online-only game enterprises with their huge development price tags don't have standalone offline content for solo or couch co-op play. You can't make a damn dime once the games go down in flames or just die off naturally, but you CAN get new players who are growing into games like this every day interested in seeing your hard work and a new to them game world if there's something left to muck around with after the servers get shut down.
