See all experiences. Recent reviews from experiences in New Delhi. The tour is very flexible, taking us to see what we wanted to see, in one day we had a great overview of Old and New Delhi and saw some great sights!
Excellent tour! We found our guide very knowledgeable attentive to what we wanted to see. A highlight was the rickshaw ride through the streets of Old Delhi! This is the best way to see New Delhi. We saw more of the city in one day than we expected.
We stopped at recommended locations and enjoyed every minute. Each bus had someone explaining the stops and made sure we did not miss anything as well as providing an escape from the heat and hustle and bustle of Delhi life. Rishikesh provided some beautiful views and a great, short walk to both bridges. Our guide then took us to Haridwar where we saw the evening ceremony.
Despite the initial logistical hiccups, this tour was absolutely fantastic. Be warned it's a lot of food so come starving. My guide Jaidev was an absolute gem, professional and very knowledgeable.
Great way to see both old and New Delhi and experience the food. Spoke English very clearly and showed us temples not on the normal tourist trail. Amazing day touring Old and New Delhi. Our guide Abi was so knowledgeable and full interesting facts. Visited old first - architecturally and historically beautiful. Suneil was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Always willing to answer questions of which I have many. Drove past India Gate but did not stop. Would have liked to see more in New Delhi and visited Qutub Minar. Overall, it was good value with a good guide. Overall, we had a wonderful time and got to see so many places throughout Old and New Delhi. Our trip through Delhi was fantastic! Our guide and driver met us promptly at our hotel in the morning.
The vehicle was nice and offered AC which was helpful later in the day. We started by visiting Jama Masjid which was incredible. Followed that with a rickshaw ride through Chandi Chowk. Our guide Sunil offered us tea and we enjoyed it from the rooftop overlooking the spice market.
We then visited a local spice and tea shop where we got to smell samples and purchase them. From there, we visited Raj Ghat which was a very nice memorial area. A nice green, relaxing respite in the middle of a busy city. Then we had a traditional Indian lunch which was delicious. We also visited Humayun's Tomb, an incredible monument worth walking around. We then visited a tourist shop with various goods to buy scarfs, trinkets, etc.
The sales people in the store were persistent but friendly. Our tour guide Sunil was very knowledgeable and had great enthusiasm. We definitely recommend this tour and Sunil as a guide! Although we wanted to visit the tomb, we still appreciated the transparency and thoughtfulness of our guide from the start of the trip. Overall we were very satisfied with our Agra tour.
We were picked up from our hotel in New Delhi and escorted to our train to Agra. Once we arrived to Agra, our tour guide, Mohammed met us at our train and took us to our driver in Agra. At Agra, we started with the Taj Mahal -- which was absolutely gorgeous! Mohammed did an amazing job giving us the history behind this wonder, as well as the background story behind every structure at the site.
He also knew the best spots to take pictures of the Taj Mahal!
